Artist Bazaar set in New York Mills

The bazaar includes handmade gifts by local artists, where people may find one-of-a-kind artwork, stocking stuffers, small gifts and more.

NEW YORK MILLS — The New York Mills Regional Cultural Center announces its annual Artist Bazaar set Wednesday through Saturday, Nov. 18-21, in the main floor gallery of the center.

The bazaar includes handmade gifts by local artists, where people may find one-of-a-kind artwork, stocking stuffers, small gifts and more.

The 2020 featured artists include: Joy Cooley, recycled sweater/fleece mittens; Maria Koehler, wool socks; Aryn Lill, tree slice paintings and ornaments; Kent Scheer, to be determined; Blayze Buseth, porcelain tea cups/small figures, trays, tea sets; Kari Briscoe, recycled sweater Christmas trees and hats; Gen Keranen, weavings, alcohol ink paintings and baskets; Cheryl Bannes, jewelry; John MacIntyre, jewelry; Dusty Krause, leaf caste bowls; and Bruce Engebretsen, Finnish wool socks and mittens.

The bazaar will be open every day at 10 a.m. and close at 6 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, 5 p.m. Friday and 3 p.m. Saturday. Friday and Saturday will be the stock-up sale where all items will be available at special discount.

COVID-19 precautions will be observed, including required masks, a limit of 15 people at a time in the gallery and if a person is sick, organizers ask them to stay home. Call the center with any questions at 218-385-3339.
